What is the new policy on needing to buy all of the books for the CFA???

I think this new policy would elevate the cost of taking the test and would just waste a lot of trees. Even using just the full Schweser notes is thousands of pages of material; it would be nearly impossible to read and digest all of the information from the books themselves.

What happens if you take the test multiple times, do they keep on sending you the same library of tomes, or do they just send the incremental new readings???

What is the best approach now to study? Are the books still relevant??

I'm still waiting to see if I passed Level III (for the second time). If I fail, then I may need to re-register and maybe get the new books.

do you think I need to buy for book for level I? I heard from my friend to take this test and you can progress in your career, but can you give me some info about what I should do to pass the level I
